A graveside funeral service for Jean Eidson Thompson Toole, 80, of Williston, SC will be held eleven a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Williston Cemetery with the Reverend Charles Morris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Folk Funeral Home on Wednesday. Mrs. Jean passed away Monday, October 6, 2014.
Born in Williston, SC she was a daughter of the late George Carroll Eidson and Lillian Porter Eidson. She was first married to the late John Clark “Big John” Thompson, Sr. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Toole of the home, daughter, Brenda T. (Frankie) Allen; son, John C. (Marsha) Thompson, Jr. all of Williston; step-daughter, Amy Kelley; sisters, Louise Chitty, Sara Setzer; grandchildren, Summer Owens, Jim (Sabeen) Melvin, Robert (Hope) Bowers, John (Megan) Thompson, III; great grandchildren, Logan, Jackson, Kody, Alyssa and Laura. She was preceded in death by a step-son, Lee Toole; sisters, Dorothy Matthews, Carolyn Clark, Marget Eidson; brothers, Bucky Eidson, Hammond Eidson.
