Funeral service for Ernest James Harley, 70, of Williston, SC will be held eleven a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Reverend Tom Baker officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Thursday, September 25th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Ernest’s memory to the Williston Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC. Ernest passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014.
Born in Myers Mill, SC, he was the son of the late Onnie Wallace Harley and Ernest Myers Harley. He was a member of the Williston First Baptist Church, owner/operator of General Plumbing and Electric for many years and was married to his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra Schumpert Harley.
He was preceded in death by step-sisters, Libby Scott and Dulice Martin; step-brother, Wallace Harley and a special nephew, Mackenzie Webster
