Dean Melvin Scarbeary, Jr., 58, of Williston, SC passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014. There are no services planned at this time. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Dean be given to; Kronotex USA benefit golf tournament.
Born in Streator, Illinois he was the son of Phyllis M. Kimes Scarbeary and the late Dean Melvin Scarbeary, Sr. Dean graduated in 1974 from Winter Park High School, Winter Park, Florida. He was an avid golfer, he worked as a supervisor in the receiving dept. at Kronotex, USA in Barnwell where for the past several years he organized their yearly benefit golf tournament and formerly worked for Huggins Sign Company. Dean really thought a lot of people and people really thought a lot of him.
Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Scarbeary of Sweetwater, Tenn.; sisters, Karyn (Lynn) Pauley of Arizona City, Arizona, Debra (Phil) Huggins of Williston, Janis (Donald) Fillyaw of Niota, Tenn.; nieces, Jamie (Will) Fletcher, Hayley (John) Bodiford, Leanne (Nate) Jakubowski; nephew, Jason (Heather) Fillyaw; great-nieces, Makinley, Lilly, Emerson and a great-nephew, Mason.
