Funeral services for Otis Leroy “Lee” Mock, 80, of Windsor, SC will be held three p.m., Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Spring Branch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from one-thirty p.m. until the time of the service at the church on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853, to help the family with expenses. Lee passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014.
Born in Kalamazoo, MI he was a son of the late John Riet-Kerk and Cora May Roberts Riet-Kerk. He was a member of the American Legion and Spring Branch Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Lee previously worked at Polaris Missile Facility in Charleston, Kimberly-Clark and Cedar Creek Golf Course. He was a US Air Force Veteran and was in the U. S Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Virginia Benton Mock; daughters, Ginger Mock Donovan, Patricia “Patty” (Paul) Welch all of Windsor, April Mock of Spartanburg; son, Thomas Michael Mock of Aiken; daughter-in-law, Paula Mock; 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Alan Mock and brothers, Robert Mock, Donald Mock and Charles Riet-Kerk.
